This is an enlarged version of the Cavendish-type silk banana, boasting measurements of between 20 and 25 centimeters. Its skin comes in shades of yellow, dotted with distinctive black spots, and when split open reveals slightly pink flesh. This fruit is grown in the dense jungles of Peru, located on the banks of rivers, using organic and natural farming methods.
The dedicated local producers, through their care for more than a year, ensure that this fruit reaches our tables with the highest quality. It can be eaten fresh, but its flavor is especially appreciated in juices, chifles or snacks. This plantain occupies a fundamental place in the preparation of the popular dish "arroz a la cubana", as well as being a prominent component in various fried foods, offering a perfect complement to savory dishes.
